What is keeping India steady on the path of success , when there are speed breakers like political corruption, poverty , terror threats etc. ?
When the ambition is strong to succeed, the speed breakers are just stepping stones to any country, though nobody is in defence of corruption and terrorism. It is only lethargy of the administration which suffers people.

well..this year is the most important year in my life as i will have to sit for many exams and interviews for jobs. thats why I’m asking this question.

You really need both. Being optimistic and having a good attitude will go a long way but at the end of the day the work has to get done. Having the courage to take ownership of work and bring it to full completion is priceless in a world where laziness and cowardice reign supreme.
Are they just an impediment in life? Would growing cold and unfeeling truly be the Path To Success? After all, growing cold would prevent you from feeling the pain of unrequited love, depression, etc.
Are they essential? Would growing cold and unfeeling shut yourself out from people who can help? Emotions can also sometimes act as a warning to certain dangers.
Tell of your opinions, and, if it’s not too personal, an experience that can justify your opinion.
God, someonecanbme is making me sound like I’m a heretic…can I not just ask a question out of curiosity?
I’m getting some very good answers here…and, to no surprise of mine, no one’s seemed to think that it’s an impediment as of yet.
This is where the difference between living and being alive comes in. The difference between machine and human is emotion. Emotions give us the ability to reason, because in reasoning, we use logic, which we developed from experience–experiences from which we learned based on how they made us feel. If a person reasons that they don’t need emotions, they are doing so because of past experiences involving pain, something which alerts the brain to be cautious in similar situations or avoid such situations again if at all possibile. It’s an animalistic instinct.
Therefore even if a person decided to become "cold and unfeeling," any decisions thereafter would be based on previous experiences…I don’t really believe there is any way to take your emotions away without physically altering the brain, because it has developed to reason the way it has because of emotions in the past. It doesn’t seem like there is any way to erase that…
So Im just about to make my big college decisions and I have pondered so many different thoughts and ideas and after all of it I still have this same view… I see myself in a big business office, with my own desk, and my own computer and just having that nice, well-paying, business career. But with so many different Major choices and directions to choose, I feel like i’m lost on my Path To Success. If you have any insight please help me.
Hey buddy as long as you believe in yourself, don’t make any body lose this confident. you’re making a great job there, as long as you know what you want and what are your goals you will reach it

Yesterday i saw a lot of interviews given to this man, and I got tired and bored of how reporters tried to put worths in his mouth or tried to make him look evil and corrupt, and this guys shut their mouths with smart and educated and fair responses.
Why won’t the US media stop attacking someone whos only goal is to make his country non US dependant and put it on the path of success and development?

You must have been watching somebody else.
Here are the major steps you have to take:
1. Find what to sell. Research your audience or your market.
2. Get a place to sell it. If traditional business, you need to get a shop or an establishment. For online business, you need to get a website (see source below to start a website that cost almost nothing).
3. Marketing. Some easy ways includes distributing business cards, having a website, word of mouth, pay-per-click marketing etc.
Do something today and you will be closer to your success.

Hey I live in Georgia, Ive heard of New Horizons but Im trying to keep my options open. I am 18 and I’m not in college yet but would like to start off small and also learn something that I can always do on the side. Im interested in Microsoft Powerpoint mostly but I heard Microsoft Specialists get paid big money. What is the best way I can go about this. I am an 18 yearold female trying to find my Path To Success…..HelP meh PLEase.
There are disks you can get that will teach you everything then you take test at local sites. Or there are online classes you can take.
Limited government, no taxes, everyone owns a gun, religion forms an important part of daily life, and the only Path To Success is rugged individualism?

I have been doing it for 6 weeks and have lost 10 lbs. I have 22 pts a day and use usually between 18-22 daily and can probably count on one hand how many times Ive used any flex points. I average about 8 activity points a week. Is all of this along the Path To Success? I am not going to meetings, just doing it with a friend to be held accoutable.
it really depends on who is doing it and how! I went on it last summer for only a few weeks before school started and lost 17 lbs in a month! I didn’t attend meetings either, I started off exercising at least 30 hard minutes a day and really watched my points and it melted off!!! I lost 7 lbs the first week and it got slower from there. the exercise is the most credible part. the weight watchers just helps a lot with portioning! it all depends on you.
speaking of that, I’m totally going to get back on the bandwagon!
