By that, I mean does being a freemason open any new doors for you? Or are the benefits just about the same as if you were good friends with a sizable group of people?
I guess what I mean is, do other members look out for each other especially and try to help each other succeed in their careers, etc.? I hope this question makes sense, ha ha.
That place creeps me out theres a Freemason club in the main street here and I always used to look in the gate when I was a little kid and the courtyard looked like something from Harry Potter =S I have no idea what they are or even do though… As far as I know a Freemason is someone who works with stone.

in my experience, the rewards, as in benefits are based upon what you put into the fraternity.
However this is the same with any large organization or any endeavor within life you reap what you sew..
Perhaps 50 + years ago there might have been more of a benefit to belong to the free mason fraternity, but today I feel the main impact is more centric towards the individual member, helping him to become a better man who’s on the level.
I would recomend the orginization to help someone build solid foundation to structure their lives by

Yes. It is a decent organization that you have be a good and decent person and it helps to be "recommended" by someone who is already in the organization. You have to be a "man" who is a thinker and of good moral and high standing in the community. Yes they can…but it depends on how serious you take you interaction and your devotion to the freemason society.

You become successful through hard work and perseverance.
It just so happens that MANY Freemasons are successful because they have a strong work ethic, good morals, business sense and intelligence. MANY of them were successful before they became Freemasons. MANY became successful after tehy became Freemasons. Freemasonry is a fraternity, not a business clique.
