What makes life an amazing adventure after 50? What does it take to turn around a bland life after 50? Looking for stories of those who have done this in real life. What’s your story?

I went from being a corp slave (Mgr) to consulting and although it was scary because of no guarenteed income, I’ve been successful way beyond my expectations and actually make more money, work a lot less, and have less responsibility. I had a severence early on and some work back with my company but it was still nerve racking until I got established. But I mostly love it and have turned down several job offers from clients. Now that my kids are grown, I have no qualms in traveling all over the US and canada for work.
